Overview:
During the 3 Days Desert Buggy tour, participants will have the opportunity to visit one of North Africa’s largest sand dunes located in the Merzouga area. Upon arrival, guests will be introduced to their guide and given instructions on how to use the equipment and safety guidelines.
On our three desert buggy tour, will get you to witness various aspects of the Moroccan countryside, including the towering Erg dunes, rocky regs, isolated plateaus, shifting hammadas, sandy rivers, and gain insight into the uncomplicated way of life of the nomads. Additionally, you’ll also get to experience the exhilarating rush of adrenaline that comes with navigating through the sand dunes.

3 days Sahara Buggy Tour Itinerary:
Day 01: Merzouga Dunes – Erg Znigi Dunes – Ouzina Sand Dunes
After showering and having breakfast at your hotel in Merzouga, our guide will provide a briefing on the safety measures for driving the buggy on the sand dunes. Subsequently, we will begin our three days desert buggy expedition in Morocco, discovering the picturesque and isolated regions of the southern part of the country with the aid of a proficient and competent local UTV crew.
Our tour will begin with a drive through Erg Chebbi’s towering sand dunes, among the highest in North Africa. We’ll follow the path of the famed Paris-Dakar Rally and stop at the ancient Taouz engraved stone site. After lunch in Jdaid settlement, we’ll watch the sunset over the orange Ouzina sand dunes before spending the night in a rustic lodge or a wild desert camp, enjoying the serene solitude of this unspoiled wilderness.
Day 2: The dunes of Ramlia – Mharch valley – Sand dunes of Erg Ouzina
We set out towards the Ramliya dunes and the Mharch Valley by following the Dakar rally roads that stretch deep into the desert. As we traversed the vast expanse of sand and rock, we engaged in conversations with the nomadic people we encountered along the way, pausing for a refreshing cup of tea together.
After having lunch, we will proceed on the trail that will lead us through a desiccated river, a dark plateau, multiple regions covered in fine sand called fesh-fesh, and finally, we will cross an immense bed of sand before we make our way back to Ouzina through the twisting and compacted paths.
Day 3: Erg Ouzina dunes – Hamada Kem Kem – Return to the Merzouga dunes
Throughout our 3 days desert buggy tour, we will be venturing into the sand dunes that lie between the Hamada Kem Kem and black Mountains. Furthermore, we will head out on a drive that will take us across the Ouzina Sand Dunes and Ziz River, allowing us to learn more about the awe-inspiring and secluded mountains that are positioned to the south.
Next, we will take a drive to Taouz and Khamlia village to have lunch and savor Berber pizza. After that, we will make a stop at a small oasis before continuing our journey to the highest sand dunes of Merzouga. We will climb one of the highest sand dunes to witness the stunning sunset and enjoy the magnificent scenery. We will spend the night in a hotel.

Cash or credit cards:
You can pay the remaining balance for the 3 days Side by Side ride using Euros (€), Pounds (£), USD ($), or local Dirhams (MAD) in cash. It is recommended that you make the payment in cash when you arrive at the office. If you prefer not to carry a significant amount of cash, you can use a credit card or Mastercard, but there will be a 6% surcharge.
Cancellation Policy :
If you want to cancel your 3 days desert buggy off-roading in the wilderness, you can let us know by sending an email at least two days before the tour starts. We will provide you with a complete refund. Alternatively, if you want to reschedule the trip for a later date, we can make arrangements for that too.
