4 Days Desert ATV rentals Itinerary:

Day 01: Merzouga Desert - Erg Znigi dunes - Ouzina desert

Our adventure kicks off with a scenic drive across the small dunes of Erg Chebbi, renowned as one of Morocco’s highest sand dunes. As we continue southward, we’ll pause at the Taouz prehistoric site to admire its fascinating etched stones.

We started a lovely trip across vast sand dunes, black desert and mountains, finally reaching Jdaid village for a leisurely lunch stop. Later, we follow the Jdaid River, pausing to see the spectacular sunset over the orange sand dunes of Ouzina. As night falls, we choose between camping under million stars or staying in an isolated lodging.

Day 02: Erg Ouzina Sand Dunes - Ramlia Dunes - Tafraoute

After breakfast, we head towards the Ramliya dunes, following the Dakar Rally routes deep into the desert. Along the way, we pause to share a cup of tea with nomads, gaining insight into their culture. The journey is filled with memorable experiences and meaningful conversations, making it truly unforgettable.

We have lunch, then the trail guides us over a dry river and through several areas of deep sand before taking us to Tafraoute. Enjoy the stunning sunsets from afar as we traverse the vast space

Day 03: Tafraoute - Tijjakhte - Rissani Oasis.

On day 3, we begin our journey from Tafraoute Sidi Ali, making our way through the stunning Mharch Valley. As we travel, we pass by “Les Petites Dunes” and ascend the winding paths of “Tizi Noyodo,” offering magnificent views of the vast desert. Our route takes us to Rissani, with a stop in Tijjakht.

The journey offers a mix of rugged terrain and picturesque landscapes, providing a true sense of the desert’s beauty and expanse. For lunch, we’ll enjoy a delicious picnic amidst the natural surroundings, taking in the tranquility of the desert before continuing our adventure.

Day 04: Rissani Oasis - Merzouga

We begin the day by riding from the Rissani Oasis to the renowned Erg Chebbi dunes, marking the conclusion of our tour. Along the way, we discover the traditional irrigation system at “Khouttara” and explore the stunning “Tisserdmine” and “Talbardat” dunes. This journey offers a fascinating insight into the desert’s agricultural history.

We went to sahara desert with our guide Said and he took us to this ATV quad bike. Highly recommended exceptional time. Helpful people and guide as well.

We had a wonderful time during a 2 hours Sahara quad Biking tour with Saïd. He is a very nice guy and the trip was amazing. They take you really far into the dessert, and you’ll have a private guide. The quads were perfect quality and they take the time to explain everything. Suitable for beginners and more advanced drivers. Beter than camel-rides! Please take the 2 hours tour; 1 hour won't be enough! 🙂

Mohamed is a passionate guide, interesting, working in security and for the well being of his clients. I had searched for a buggy outing in Merzouga in the Erg Chebbi on TripAdvisor and he was the one who came out of the lot: delighted with this outing, magical to drive a buggy in the dunes of Merzouga, my favorite place in the world. Indescribable place, we feel very small.

The ride was amazing. The guides are very helpful. After a pick up at our stay, we received a clear safety instructions. After this, the fun started.
